Thermal and microwave-absorbing properties of doped polyaniline–epoxy nanocomposites for stealth applications

Abstract The thermal properties of polymeric nanocomposites can be examined using TGA and DSC techniques, while dielectric through simulated scattering (S11, S12, S21, S22) parameters. Polyaniline (PAni) nanopowder was synthesized chemical oxidative polymerization techniques. Consequently, the crystallite size morphology powder were XRD, TEM, FESEM Further, a series developed via wet mixing compressor molding techniques for various volume percentages (54.0, 57.5, 60.1, 61.7 vol%) within PAni/epoxy composites. absorbing have been measured vector network analyzer its software module. computed complex permittivity data used to evaluate absorption different thicknesses samples. A minimum reflection loss − 22.3 dB (> 99.9% absorption) optimized with broadband frequency ranges. unique heterostructures nanocomposite are responsible enhanced shielding performance.
